Named for New Zealand's "First Lady of Netball", the Lois Muir Challenge was established in 2008 by the country's 12 netball regions, with the support of Netball New Zealand. It's designed to be a feeder competition for the ANZ Championship, and gives players below that level an opportunity to prepare for each new season.
